West Ham United manager David Moyes is reportedly keen to sign Manchester United centre-back Phil Jones on a free transfer [Daily Mail].
Becoming a custodian of the Red Devils in the last decade, the 29-year-old has registered 16 goal contributions in 224 appearances at Old Trafford; ten goals and six assists [Transfermarkt].
Now, the Preston-born defender could be set for a surprise reunion with former manager Moyes following recent developments.
Manchester United are said to be open to letting Jones leave the club on a free transfer to open up space in their roster, with the Hammers one of a few clubs interested in his services.
