Loads of Celtic fans have been reacting to a disappointing setback, as both Daniel Arzani and Eboue Kouassi will miss extended periods of time with knee injuries.

Brendan Rodgers confirmed the news that no fan wants to hear on Friday, as both Arzani and Kouassi have suffered cruciate injuries.

The two youngsters have barely played this season, but as the games ramp up during the winter they certainly would have gotten a chance.

Arzani’s injury is particularly disappointing for fans, as the Australian wonderkid is only at the club on a temporary basis.

Having played just one league game for the Bhoys, they now face the prospect of never really seeing the youngster in action.

The 19-year-old, who already has five Australia caps and one international goal to his name, joined on a two-year loan deal this summer, but Manchester City could recall him next summer given how poorly this spell in Glasgow has gone.
