Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez, speaking during Friday’s press conference, has said that he has ‘an idea’ of his plans for the January transfer window.
However, Benitez later added that he was not sure whether the club had any money to spend, which might be a bit of a problem.
Owner Mike Ashley did put his hand in his pocket during the summer transfer window, but there is a general feeling that not enough quality arrived.
The Newcastle fans are still absolutely desperate for Ashley to sell up, and recently had an idea of how that could happen.
For now, Ashley remains in position, and Newcastle will enter Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace down in 19th position in the table.
Indeed, the Magpies have only taken one point from their five league games this season, and Benitez is under big pressure to pick up a result at Palace.

Signing players will be tricky if there is no money available, and the Newcastle fans have revealed their frustration once again.
