According to The Telegraph, West Ham United are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater in this summer’s transfer window.
Drinkwater is said to be considering his future at Stamford Bridge, despite the fact that the England international only made the move to the Blues last summer.
The 28-year-old has struggled for regular action under Antonio Conte, and has not actually turned out for the reigning English champions since the start of last month.

It is not exactly a secret that West Ham want to sign at least one new central midfielder this summer, and the Hammers are currently being linked with Drinkwater, who has faced criticism from the Chelsea fans in recent weeks.
It is thought that the former Manchester United youngster earns £120,000 a week at Stamford Bridge, whilst he cost Chelsea in the region of £35m, which means that West Ham would have to be prepared to spend big.
The club’s supporters have been reacting to the transfer rumour, and it would be fair to say that a number have welcomed Drinkwater’s possible arrival.
